OLD GERMAN CHEST FROM THE MISSION INN!
DATE ON CROWN IS 1564
Chest is ornately carved and has inlays. Two top doors, one with center post, inside storage area. Two large drawers across the bottom. Came from room 451 (old numbering system) of the Mission Inn. H88", W70", D29". Comes apart in 3 pieces (crown), (center section w/two doors), (bottom section with drawers). Marked under bottom of bottom section with signature and lable (see photo) as being made in "Nurnberg", Germany. Purchased at auction from the Mission Inn Foundation, September 12, 1987.
